(LB34) Maintenance Engineer

Are you a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer with a background in manufacturing or production? Are you looking for a stable days-only role with a great salary and a clear shift pattern?

We’re recruiting for a skilled and reliable Maintenance Engineer to join a fast-paced manufacturing business, working just three 12-hour day shifts per week. Whether you’re mechanically biased (60/40) or more electrically biased (up to 80/20), we’d love to hear from you.


The Maintenance Engineering role:

·         Carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance on production equipment

·         Fault finding on PLC-controlled machinery (no programming required, just diagnostics)

·         Responding quickly to breakdowns and keeping downtime to a minimum

·         Supporting continuous improvement and reliability initiatives across the site

·         Working proactively to ensure the smooth running of production


The Successful Maintenance Engineer:

·         A strong engineering background within a manufacturing or production environment

·         A genuinely multiskilled approach – mechanical bias with solid electrical knowledge, or vice versa

·         Confident with PLC fault finding (Siemens, Allen Bradley or similar)

·         A Maintenance engineer who can diagnose issues within Inverters, drives and mechanical systems.

·         Someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-output environment

·         Relevant engineering qualifications (Apprenticeship, HNC, City & Guilds or similar)
